In Student Affairs, we regularly benchmark with other institutions and national trends, comparing the quality of and student satisfaction with our programs, activities, services, and facilities. Examples of assessment projects in which we have participated are listed below:
Multi-Institutional Study of Leadership (every three years)
The Multi-Institutional Study of Leadership is an international research program focused on understanding the influences of higher education in shaping socially responsible leadership capacity and other leadership related outcomes (e.g., efficacy, cognitive skills, resiliency).
National Association of College & University Food Services
Every year we participate in the , which helps colleges and universities compare student needs and opinions.
National College Health Assessment
The is produced by the American College Health Association, and Â鶹´«Ã½ has participated every 3-4 years since 2011. This is a comprehensive survey on a wide variety of health-related behaviors and attitudes.
Skyfactor/ACUI College Union/Student Center Survey
This survey, done in collaboration with the Association of College Students International, explores student satisfaction with college unions and the learning associated with the programs, activities and serviced offered by Norris University Center. Comparable data from institutions in our Carnegie Class, six selected institutions, and all institutions that participate in the study in a given year.
Skyfactor/ACUHO-I Resident Assessment
This survey, done in collaboration with the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International, explores student satisfaction and learning with the programs, activities and services offered by Residential Services. Comparable data from peer institutions and others participating in the study are provided in a given year.
