Pump the Brakes: Silence, Solitude, and Sabbath

We are constantly hurrying between classes, clubs, relationships, and more, which all compete for the little time we have, leaving us with little time for God. This group will examine our busyness and introduce the gifts of silence, solitude, and sabbath as ways to slow down and prioritize the most important thing: our relationship with God.

Sacred Desires: Sexuality & Spirituality | Chris Stedman, Visiting Scholar

The connection between sexuality and spirituality can be… complicated. For some, sexuality is a meaningful expression of their spiritual life. Join us for with visiting scholar Chris Stedman as he discusses themes from his forthcoming book, Nothing in Particular, which explores the lives and longings of people who don’t identify with any particular religion or spiritual tradition. This is an opportunity for students to reflect on their own experiences with spirituality, secularism, and identity in a welcoming, judgment-free space. Come see the ASLA Peer Tutors for help with a variety of courses! You can find them Sunday through Thursday at Schapiro Hall, Shepard Hall, Elder Lounge, the Multicultural Center, and the GSRC.

Wellness Coaching is a collaborative, non-judgmental process that can help you identify and achieve your health and wellness goals, balance dimensions of health and wellness, and learn practical skills to improve overall well-being. MBSR Spring Cohort Registration
Looking to reduce stress and build a mindfulness practice with other like-minded folks? Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an eight-week program that uses meditation, movement, and science-backed resources to help you cultivate mindfulness in a supportive and reflective space.
Reclaiming Your Canvas: Art-Focused Survivor Support Group
Reclaiming Your Canvas is a six-week, art-focused support group for Âé¶¹´«Ã½ students who identify as survivors of sexual violence, stalking, or intimate partner violence. Through engagement in various forms of creative expression, this group will offer a space to explore the nature of survivorship and the self through non-verbal processing. HPaW Opioid Overdose Prevention and Naloxone Training
This interested in learning how to administer Narcan (naloxone). Attendees will learn how to recognize signs of an opioid overdose, identify when it is appropriate to use Narcan, learn how to administer Narcan to an individual they believe is experiencing an overdose, and identify additional emergency steps to take. All attendees will receive a two-pack of Narcan after completing the training. Spring 2025 trainings available NOW!

Paid Opportunity to Enhance Learning and Teaching for Neurodivergent Students

Âé¶¹´«Ã½’s Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching is seeking students who identify as neurodivergent to on strengths-based strategies for supporting neurodivergent academic success and well-being. Selected student consultants will receive a $25 Amazon gift card for reviewing the guide and providing feedback during a 30-minute virtual interview. Student consultants may choose to be acknowledged as contributors to the guide or to remain anonymous.
