As the Occupancy Coordinator, Dan oversees daily operations for undergraduate and graduate housing assignments, ensuring smooth coordination with various departments and providing excellent customer service. Dan uses the housing management software to handle assignments, room changes, and waitlist management, while maintaining accurate records and communication with students, campus partners, and the Census Bureau. Dan works with the Assistant Director and Associate Director to plan cyclical occupancy processes such as returning student room selection, new student assignments, early arrivals, late stays, and summer contracts.
Dan graduated from Bradley University with a B.S. in User Experience Design, and from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a M.S.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs. Prior to joining Â鶹´«Ã½, Dan has worked in various Campus Operations and Workplace Services roles, directing functions such as facility maintenance and project management, conference and guest services, as well as reception and mailroom operations, etc.
